•1952, Business School of CQU revoked resulting from a higher education consolidation launched by the Chinese

•1989, Department of Management was upgraded to be the School of Economics and Business Administration

•1991, SEBA was approved by the Chinese MOE to launch master programs in economics and management

•1997, SEBA was approved by Chinese MOE to launch MBA Program

•2002, Technological Economics and Management approved to be the national key discipline
