Professor Japhet Law, Senior Advisor for EFMD GN Asia (European Foundation for Management Development) and the former Dean of CUHK Business School, did the Briefing Visit in SEBA for the EQUIS Accreditation on Oct 30th, 2018.

During the Briefing Visit, Professor Law introduced the EQUIS Accreditation for the faculty representatives in detail, held talks with the School Affairs Committee of SEBA and reviewed the Datasheet to complete the preliminary evaluation of SEBA. After the Briefing Visit, Professor Law will submit the Briefing Visit Report, together with the final Datasheet presented to the EQUIS Committee for a decision on SEBA’S eligibility to enter the next EQUIS process.

EQUIS is a global accreditation scheme for leading institutions of business education. It is granted and run by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), whose mission is to raise the standard of management education worldwide.

EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA are called to be the most rigorous international business school accreditation schemes around the world. SEBA started the EQUIS Accreditation from April, 2018, and has earned AACSB Accreditation in 2017, the AMBA Accreditation in 2013. If SEBA was awarded EQUIS accreditation, will achieve the coveted "triple crown" accreditation status.
