Associate Dean Prof. Huang He led the accreditation team to participate the EFMD 2019 Annual Conference hosted in NOVA School of Business & Economics located in Lisbon, Portugal on June 4-8. The theme of this conference is TRUST PARTNERSHIPS IMPACT and the session had addressed topics including Reinventing Globalisation: Business Schools as Trailblazers of Sustainable Prosperity; Trust in a Distrusting World; Trust in Rankings; Creating an Institutional Ecosystem in which Trust and Impact Can Thrive.
During the conference, Prof. Huang He met with Prof. Rebecca Taylor, the EFMD Vice-President (academic network), Pro Vice-Chancellor and CEO (Malaysia), University of Southampton and Prof. David Asch, EQUIS Director, Quality Services, EFMD-Chairman of EQUIS and Prof. Martin Schader, Associate Director, Quality Services, EFMD over SEBA’s EQUIS Accreditation process. And Prof. Huang He also talked with Aurélie Harmand and Marielle Van Renterghem, the Quality Services Coordinator, about the detail work of SEBA’ s EQUIS Accreditation.
Meanwhile, Prof. Huang He had productive conversation with Prof. Japhet Law, the Senior Advisor of EFMD Global and Prof. Yi Zhihong, the Board Members of EFMD Global. Prof. Japhet Law and Prof. Yi Zhihong had given a lot of precious suggestions and guidance relating to the EQUIS Accreditation.
Participating in this conference, Prof. Huang He had meaningful conversation with EFMD team at all levels to proceed SEBA’s EQUIS accreditation work and discussed the accreditation for business school, cooperation and internationalization issues with Deans from the top business schools all over the world.
With all the activities, SEBA has enhanced the connection with EFMD and strengthened the communication with other international business schools, which will help to improve the internationalization of SEBA.
