重庆大学经济与工商管理学院金融系成立于1993年,从1994年开始招收第一届本科生,是国内较早按照国际标准进行学科设置的院系之一。为中国经济发展培养创新性金融人才,为推动金融学理论发展贡献创造性学术新知,是金融系一直以来的使命与愿景。传承重庆大学教学科研优良传统,为海内外优秀学子提供现代金融专业课程,获取金融学科前沿学术成果,创新金融基本理论,解决中国金融实际问题,为社会创造知识财富,是金融系一直履行的初心和责任。金融系作为中国中西部地区乃至全国最具活力的金融教学科研单位之一,开办有金融学本科专业、金融专业硕士、应用经济学学术硕士(金融方向)和应用经济学博士(金融方向)四个学位项目,为国家社会经济发展培养了大量优秀人才。金融系师资力量雄厚,现有来自海内外的全职教师23人,其中教授11名、副教授6名、助理教授4名、弘深青年教师2名,主要研究领域包括公司金融、金融市场与机构、行为金融、金融科技、资产定价、宏观金融与货币政策、财政金融、保险与风险管理等。
The Department of Finance at the School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University was established in 1993, and it began admitting its first undergraduate student in 1994. It is one of the early departments in China to set up its discipline according to international standards. The mission and vision of the Department of Finance have always been to cultivate innovative financial talents for China's economic development and contribute to the creative development of financial theory. The department is among the most dynamic in the central and western regions of China, as well as nationwide.Continuing the excellent tradition of teaching and research at Chongqing University, the Department of Finance provides modern financial courses for outstanding students from both domestic and international backgrounds. It absorbs the latest academic achievements in financial disciplines, conducts research on fundamental financial theories and practical issues in China, and strives to create knowledge wealth for society. The department offers core courses for the undergraduate Finance program, the Master's program in Finance, the Ph.D. program in Finance, and some core courses for professional training programs within the school.The Department of Finance boasts a strong faculty with a total of 23 full-time faculty, including 11 professors, 6 associate professors, 4 assistant professors, and 2 Hongshen Young Faculty. Their main research areas cover a wide range of topics, including corporate finance, financial markets and institutions, behavioral finance, financial technology, asset pricing, macro-finance and monetary policy, fiscal finance, insurance, and risk management.
